The validity period of your internet data volume, tells you the duration of time that your allocated data volume will be valid (useable).
You are expected to use your allocated internet data within its validity period. All your allocated data volume will automatically expire after its validity period elapses.
So if you subscribed to a 24 H internet data bundle, after 24 hours elapses, all your allocated internet data volume will automatically expire (your internet data balance will be reduced to 0MB).
It should be noted that your internet connection don,t only stop working, after the validity period of your bundle elapses. Your internet connection also ends immediately your allocated internet data volume is depleted.
Your internet data is just like your internet credit. After your internet credit is finish i.e. 0MB, you won,t be able to browse the web. Some people are unaware of this. They think that because they have subscribed for a 24 H or 1 week internet bundle, their internet connection must last for 24 hours or 1 week. Your internet connection ends immediately your allocated data volume (your internet credit) is finish.
You can only browse through out the validity period of your internet data bundle if you manage your allocated internet data volume well so that it doesn,t get finish before its validity period.
There are 6 types of MTN data bundle validity periods which include;
- The Daily MTN Data Bundle Validity period 24 Hours
- The Weekly MTN Data Bundle Validity period 1 week
- The Monthly MTN Data Bundle Validity period 1 month
- The Streaming MTN Data Bundle Validity period 1 month
- The Mid Night MTN Data Bundle Validity period 6 Hours (12AM-06AM)
- The Hourly MTN Data Bundle Validity period 2 Hours.
